Ausdecom dismantled a series of redundant plant and equipment inside the former Ford Manufacturing Plant.
Over two phases, 27,700 man hours and specialist equipment, works included the safe internal demolition of all equipment within the former Ford Manufacturing Facility.
All work was completed whilst maintaining ongoing operations in adjacent construction and manufacturing facilities.
The task of dismantling and removing the redundant equipment was identified as a high risk task. Ausdecom was awarded the contract due to having a proven track record of safely executing such tasks.
All press plant pits and remaining floors were high-pressure washed prior to area handover to allow redevelopment works commence.
