The project involved the demolition of the decommissioned service station, removal and offsite disposal of 5 underground storage tanks, and the onsite remediation of approximately 1750 m3 of soil contaminated with hydrocarbons.
Due to the complexity of the site’s location within the Wangaratta city centre, Ausdecom utilized a purpose designed and built Soil Vapour Extraction system, to mitigate odours and vapours crossing the site boundary throughout the remediation Scope of Works.
Throughout the project, Ausdecom had meticulously planned strategies, and timelines in order to meet our client’s requirements along with our team of experienced remediation personnel. Constant onsite supervision and management ensured that the project progressed smoothly, exceeding expectations, and honouring our client’s deadlines.
