Scope of Work Completed

Controlled demolition of above ground storage tanks in a hazardous industrial environment.
Ausdecom managed the hazardous site including uneven ground and limited access to the structures, fixtures and fittings. The project was conducted under a WPCG Permit to Work System to conduct works safely and controlled operations within the hazardous environment.
Stringent monitoring of potential ground water and internal drains was conducted to control all water on site and eradicate risk of contamination.
With inceptor/drain protection in place, pipelines were cleaned of contaminated liquids and the waste was transported from site safely.
Dismantled pipes were recycled and removed off site as scrap to clear way for specialised demolition plant to demolish the 16 above ground tanks.
